the Ripple Center
ARTS & ENTERTAINMENT
The Ripple Center, formerly known as the Butler Building, has been home to a variety of businesses since its construction in 1903. As the area’s original hub of entertainment & culture being Aitkin’s original Opera House, the vision is to add to its rich history as a growing hot spot for music and performing arts.
MEDIA PLAN
Located in a fanbase of mostly country and bluegrass, but a supporter of new artists in every genre, The Ripple Center’s demographic can consist of young urban or older country fans depending on the day. Advertising through local radio, newspaper, local tv, email, text, social media and printed flyers were distributed locally. Ad creation and placement adjusted depending on performer fanbase. Performers were able to join in live radio calls on a local morning show and fans were able to enter ticket giveaways online through social media. Written and distributed press releases went to regional news outlets. Email and text marketing focused on upcoming calendar events and ticket sale reminders.
