Our goal was to give Lakes Area Cosmetic Bar a brand that was an authentic reflection of their business – cosmetic services at an affordable price with the mission of building an individual’s self-confidence.
The first step into our relationship with Lakes Area Cosmetic Bar was mending their google/apple map locations – a glitch in the system sending customers to their old location. This led to other needs such as rebranding, social media management, website rebuild and migration while maintaining or improving SEO.
SOCIAL MEDIA
Our social media goal was to raise awareness. We utilized social channels and geo-targeted demographics to reach potential followers that would also book future services. Across Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok and Google posts were aimed to educate, entertain and engage viewers. Product and gift card giveaways were utilized to gain traction. In the first 30 days we gained not only followers, but 32 new customers through the door.
WEBSITE
Lakes Area Cosmetic’s Bar’s old site was lacking information on services for curious customers to take action and book an appointment – as well as payment options and the ability to shop products online. The previous site design was over-filled with keywords, which made it appear a ‘bot’ had written it, something that appeals to neither search engines or the customer. You don’t want to appear as a sales man knocking on your client’s door, but rather invite them to visit your website and leave with a good understanding of your character, mission and voice as a brand – all of which back your services.
Part of achieving this goal was to improve customer experience by adding a clear description of each service offered – and presented in an eye-appealing design rather than multiple paragraphs of text. Giving the viewer an understanding of what one can expect for a procedure, the time it takes and cost. Other tools were put in place such as a financing option to give customers the option to treat now and pay later. Not only does the new site make it easier for visitors to navigate, shop and book appointments – but now they can subscribe for discounts on services and products.
In a highly competitive market, the website is a tool that offers the opportunity to communicate with a customer 24/7, directly affecting customer retention while improving productivity. Answering frequently asked questions with the ability to book an appointment online saves valuable time. Bombarded by texts, emails and messenger at the end of the day sound familiar?
